ActiVet was founded by Dr Anthony Chu in September 2005. It started as a small animal veterinary housecall service to a number of suburbs in Sydney's inner-west and northern district. It delivers veterinary care, including both conventional treatment and complementary therapies like veterinary acupuncture and Chinese veterinary herbal medicine, and general pet care products to our clients.
In April 2011, ActiVet opened its own base hospital - ActiVet Clinic Carlingford. We now operate six days a week (Monday to Saturday), except public holidays. Our veterinarian has been working in small animal practices for over 20 years and is a certified vet acupuncturist with over 15 years experience in veterinary acupuncture treatment for dogs and cats.
ActiVet Clinic Carlingford also works closely with regional specialists including mobile radiologists and board certified specialist surgeons as well as after-hour emergency vet hospitals in Sydney to provide the best treatment for our small animal patients at any time.
